Abstract

This empirical study has used survey method to assess four specific dimensions of working conditions for women journalists in all the Karachi based news channels. Theoretical frame work is based on liberal feminism theory. 79 women journalists associated with various Karachi based news channels are part of this survey research as respondents. Thus using the chi-square test and Pearson correlation test, the findings of this research display a promising picture to some extent revealing the positive and cooperative behavior of male colleagues towards the women journalists at the workplace.
