Abstract

Objective of the Divine message- Wahi, revealed on the Holy Prophet SAWW was to promote the message of Islam and to persuade the Arab Baddoos to embrace Islam by rejecting their old religion. That was the most difficult task. However taking into consideration the basics of "Dawah" and "Hikmah" the Holy Prophet SAWW presented his message in a difficult and aggressive environment. Initially he came across with stiff resistance, but due to his clear past of an AMIN and tenacity of commitment, he could achieve unprecedented success in a brief period of 23 years.
The Holy Prophet SAWW used different settings of human communication to dessiminate the Divine message, i.e. Interpersonal Communication, Public Communication and Mass Communication. Keeping in view the prevailing circumstances of that age this paper discusses different methods of communication used by the Holy Prophet SAWW with reference to credible sources and modes of human communication.
