Abstract

Many researches have been conducted on the effect of advertisements on the consumers, most of which concludes that these effects are harmful for the consumers. According to these researches, women's health are being very much influenced by the effects of advertisement. Usually they are not satisfied with
their natural looks and appearance and want to have physical appearance as the models reflect in advertisements. Researches made in Pakistan also share similar results. In the following paper, these researches have been discussed and views of female students of Karachi University have been presented, on the effect of advertisements on them .
